Indigo Tries the DivaInner

8 out of 10

Pairs nicely with a classic Gin Fizz. It’s sort of weird, and you don’t think you’ll like it, but then it turns out okay.

The DivaInner Rabbit Vibe sits in a black box surrounded by black foam. It has a black charging cord next to it. The Vibe is purple with an S-shaped clitoral arm. The base of it is white, and rounded with one flatter part on the same side as the clitoral arm where the buttons are.

DivaInner approached me with a possibility of reviewing some products for them. When I looked at their website, I was extremely put off originally. The pages of their website read like some kind of Victoria’s Secret magazine with women in lingerie, and talking about women’s health. I was very close to saying “Thank you but no.” And then I saw the prices of their products. $33 US dollars for a rabbit vibrator made with body-safe materials is very reasonable.

So I held my breath, and I said yes. I was expecting the motor to be bad, and the shipping to take forever.

They only sell through Amazon, which is normally another red flag for me as a reviewer. However, it did mean that it came with Prime-speed shipping, so I had the toy in hand less than a week after I agreed to review it. I also heard from my friend Beaux from The Beauxdoir that they also reviewed it and found it lacking.

So it is pretty safe to say that I wasn’t excited about it toy when I received it. I was willing to try it for the price range. On the off chance that I liked it, I thought it might make pleasure more accessible to some folx who have money issues. I wasn’t convinced because it doesn’t feel waterproof (and I decided not to fully test it). Water resistant toys are okay, but harder to clean. When the package arrived, I plugged it in to charge, as was recommended. It charged up over the course of a day, and then I let it sit untouched for almost three days. I just couldn’t muster the gumption to really try it.

And then I did. Now, I have toys that vibrate internally. That was my favorite sensation for a long time. However, I don’t think I’ve had toys that vibrate and specifically hit the g-spot. Additionally, I have never owned a rabbit vibe. My body is all kinds of weird shapes and not-normal. It never occurred to me that a rabbit vibe would feel good. So the DivaInner was a whole new experience. First g-spot vibration, and first rabbit vibrator.

I liked it.

I turned it on and was pleasantly surprised that the motor wasn’t overly buzzy. It actually felt powerful. I can get off on a powerful buzz. In fact, I like that so much better than a weak rumble. I am a power slut, what can I say? So when I inserted this, I thought it would feel okay. What I didn’t expect was for my whole vulva to feel it. It almost felt like someone had grabbed the anterior of my vagina and just shook it. I felt it on my labia, my clit and my g-spot. (Hey, future partners, pay attention to this. It may be good to try!)

The DivaInner Rabbit Vibe is sitting on it's back to show off the buttons. The buttons are purple to match the vibe with the minus button closer to the vibrator, the power button in the center and the plus button closest to the butt end.

I never managed to orgasm on the lowest setting. It just isn’t in my body’s nature to enjoy low settings. As usual, I also ignored the patterns. I just hate patterns okay? They were there, and I’m sure there were a number of them. But I want pressure, and consistency. If I want patterns, I’ll find a partner to bang.

Now, let’s talk about the clitoral arm. It doesn’t reach the head of my clit. I tried, but it just won’t work. I sort of wedge it between my labia and I get lube and goop on my fingers and it just doesn’t work. However, the arm does reach the sweet spot between the head and my vaginal opening. And with a little help from my fingers, to get the pressure I crave, I can have some excellent orgasms with this toy. Wonders never cease, I really like this toy.

The controls are also a pleasant surprise. There are three buttons on this toy. If you press and hold the center power button, the toy turns on. After it’s on, the Plus and Minus buttons adjust the power. If you press the power button again, you cycle through patterns. You have to press and hold to turn it off. All in all, the controls are very intuitive. The charging is the same way. I dislike how thin the charging jack is on the cord, but once inserted into the toy, the light on the front gentle flashes to show it’s charging. Once fully charged, it’s a steady light. It’s not a complicated toy, which earns points for it in my book. I hate having to figure out too much just for pleasuring myself.

Overall, this toy is actually pretty good. It comes at a reasonable price for body safe materials. It may be a bit annoying to clean due to not being waterproof, but it’s a solid vibrator that has a nice shape. It also comes in it’s own box, which isn’t a complaint either.
